I’m responsible for coordinate a team of 6 engineers and some external designers to accomplish the goals established for each development.Part of my tasks is to facilitate the implementation of new processes in the mechanical area, mainly from the mechanical design point of view, with the goal of optimizing resources in all the projects and manage the team to achieve the company expectations related to the R&D projects within the quality and robustness expected.Besides, I supervise all the mechanical tasks for company projects and leading a development team composed of people of other areas (FW, HW, SW, etc) in specifics projects.

I'm part of components engineer center sited in Madrid. Developing governors and safeties used in a global market. Part of a multidisciplinary team all around the globe. (USA, Germany, China, Korea, Etc) Developing new technologies and pushing the limits of the standards to achieve better products required by our customers.

* Define Critical to Quality Dimensions from Product Performance Characteristics * Build 3D models and Drawings in ProEngineer from existing.drawings and dimensional reports. * Analyze tolerance stack ups * Document Bill of Materials * Evaluate and approve dimensional reports * Perform VA/VE analysis * Generate Predictive models

• Sustaining Activities. Manufacturing or sourcing support: Update or new documentation creation for theirs needs. Quality support: Engineering Change Orders implementation due to quality problems.• Documentation activities. Approve and upload Official Documentation to ERP system. Reference person for the whole technology department for questions related to documentation (Revisions, documentation needed...). Improvement of the Documentation Processes (documentation flows, cross checking definitions...). Improvement and update of the technology department templates.• Design activities. o Develop devices as per specifications. oMake 3D models and drawings for parts and assemblies. o Create finite elements analysis (FEA). o Perform statistical stuck up tolerance loops. o Make failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). o Define test to validate products. o Analyze test results and decide if the product could be released to market.
