I am researcher and entrepreneur. I have more than 20 years experience in preparing and participate in European Commission grants in the field of Information Technology. I hold a PhD in Industrial Information Systems and a MSc in Computer Science by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.I began my professional career has a consultant at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Working in the Management Solutions division, developing IT projects. During my career as a consultant, I've participated in different National and International projects in Telecommunications, Finance and Energy & Utilities sectors.Later I've integrated the Centre of Technology of Systems of UNINOVA research institute, collaborating in research and innovation EU projects, covering the technological domains of: Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Blockchain and Interoperability of Systems. I've also been invited to teach at Universidade Nova de Lisboa as invited assistant professor.Recently, I've been invited to collaborate with KnowledgeBiz, supporting the technology transfer projects from research into the market.
