I set out to study physics in Heidelberg to discover not only the cosmos and the world of elementary particles but also some great places in the real world, such as Uppsala in Sweden, Qingdao in China and Lausanne in Switzerland where I studied and traveled. At the latter I spent one year in a computational neuroscience lab, the BlueBrain Project, to help simulate what is sometimes referred to as the most complex thing in the universe, the human brain.Not having seen much of the business world by then, I took the leap right into management consulting to discover the ups and downs of collaboration, consolidation, and concept development for real world problems.After three years in consulting, equipped with my experiences, I found new objectives in the software area and put my programming hobbies to new, professional use. Future activities focus around web development, Bitcoin, and whatever else is there to come.
