I hold the position of Vice Dean of Science & Technology at UNIE (2023). I possess the title of Associate Professor (Prof. Titular de Universidad ANECA 2023) with a six-year research period (Sexenio CNEAI-ANECA 2021) accreditation. I successfully attained a Doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2014, and in 2018, I was honored with the designation of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.Throughout my academic trajectory, I have contributed extensively to the scholarly realm by publishing 32 articles in indexed research journals, resulting in an H-index of 10 as per Google Scholar. Among these publications, 7 are in JCR Q1, 3 in JCR Q2, 1 in JCR Q3, 2 in JCR Q4, 3 in SJR Q2, 9 in SJR Q3, and 7 in other reputable indexes. Additionally, my dedication is evident in the authorship of 14 book chapters, with 12 of them recognized in SPI Q1.In 2009, I had the honor of engaging in research as a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University's (CMU) Human Sensing Lab in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. This invaluable experience facilitated collaboration with esteemed experts in my field, thereby expanding my knowledge within the domain of cutting-edge research.Over the years, I have actively participated in research and development endeavors supported by the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technological Research and Innovation. Furthermore, my involvement extends to Research Groups accredited by the Catalan Government. For a duration of four years, I assumed the role of Principal Investigator at the Digital Transformation in Marketing Research Group, steering innovative research initiatives.Teaching is integral to my career, with over 4,350 hours of hands-on instruction at esteemed institutions, coupled with supervising theses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I've received favorable feedback from teaching surveys, maintaining an average rating of 8.4/10. Beyond the classroom, my journey includes diverse leadership roles like Academic & Quality Director, Research Director, and Marketing Bachelor’s Degree Director.Equipped with a robust research foundation and a genuine ardor for education, I am steadfast in my commitment to imparting substantive contributions to my field while instilling inspiration in emerging scholars.
