Biomechatronics Laboratory at ASU:- Analyzed large sets of data by implementing statistical, data mining, and machine learning techniques (e.g. classification, regression, clustering methods) using software such as MATLAB and SAS.- Performed analyses on human hand anthropometry to investigate the effect of sex and age on hand dimensions.- Published one journal article and one conference proceeding on the implementation of a multimodal tactile sensor in robotic haptic explorations.

Biomechatronics Laboratory at ASU:- Fabricated a capacitive, microfluidic, force sensor skin prototype in a clean room using various MEMS fabrication equipment and techniques (e.g. photolithography, thermal evaporation).- Designed and ran experiments to characterize a tactile sensor skin prototype under various conditions.- Used a tactile sensor attached to a robotic arm and hand system to explore unknown objects.- Analyzed large sets of data by implementing statistical, data mining, and machine learning techniques (e.g. classification, regression, clustering methods) using software packages like MATLAB and SAS.- Created LabVIEW programs to acquire data from multiple devices and post- process incoming data. - Wrote C++ code to collect data and control a robot throughout experiments.- Designed mechanical parts for experiments (SolidWorks) and masks for photolithography (AutoCAD).- Created finite element models using COMSOL Multiphysics and ANSYS.- Assured quality control throughout the various stages of development processes and experiments.- Mentored and trained student researchers in equipment use and data analysis methods.- Worked in collaboration with other engineering students for completion of projects.

Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department:- Taught the laboratory section of MAE 318: Sensors and Controls, which introduces control theory to students, for three semesters. - Performed experiments and ran computer simulations using MATLAB and LabVIEW.- Graded lab reports and assisted students with questions from lecture.- Ensured student safety by enforcing safe laboratory practices.

Learning Support Services:- Managed, evaluated, and assessed on-site tutors and reported to coordinators in biweekly meetings.- Tutored students on various math, science and engineering subjects at the assigned tutoring location.- Coordinated and facilitated two test reviews per semester for students preparing for their exams.- Participated and assisted in the Finals Breakfast event (or review for Finals) at the end of each semester.- Acted as a resource for freshman students that lived in the same dorm floor as me.

Water Quality Department:- Conducted experiments to determine the quality of the water in the rivers and lakes that feed the Panama Canal.- Developed an inventory log of laboratory supplies to improve organization and traceability.
