As the Executive Director of Recreation & Wellbeing at UMass Amherst, I lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and operations for services, programs and facilities that serve over 30,000 students, faculty, and staff. I believe in fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation, with the goal of enhancing student engagement, retention, and the accessibility of recreation and wellbeing services.Aligned with the principles of collective impact, I collaborate across departments to unify efforts that promote holistic health and wellness. This work is grounded in the Okanagan Charter principles, which emphasize promoting the health and wellbeing of the campus community while contributing to academic, personal, and professional success.
