Ruben, a California native from sunny Orange County, holds an MS in Digital Social Media from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Currently serving as Manager, Social & Culture at Chipotle, Ruben leads social activations and cultural engagement, spearheading innovative campaigns to amplify cultural moments and enhance fan experiences. He drives the Brand Fan Taskforce, bringing breakthrough ideas to life that fuel fandom and cultural relevance. Collaborating closely with the Brand Partnerships team, Ruben supports national sports, music, and gaming partnerships through dynamic social strategies.Previously, Ruben was the Social Media Marketing Manager at Roblox, where he managed the brand’s social channels, helping launch and grow Roblox’s TikTok to over 17 million followers. He also oversaw key partnerships and influencer strategies, playing a pivotal role in events like the Lil Nas X and Twenty One Pilots virtual concerts.With a strong focus on crafting campaigns for Millennials and Gen Z, Ruben’s expertise spans platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, and Twitch. His skills include content management, influencer programs, and staying ahead of cultural trends to quickly activate impactful ideas.Outside of work, Ruben is a Disney enthusiast with a love for red pandas, corgis, and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. In his spare time, he enjoys jogging around Golden Gate Park, playing League of Legends & Honkai Star Rail, taking trips to Disneyland, and diving into personality quizzes and horoscopes.
