About Fredrik Rubensson

I am a Software Professional with a pragmatic, result-oriented approach. I have been involved in the development and deployment of several large business-critical systems over the years. In these projects I have assumed several different roles including programmer, project manager, architect, analyst and integrator. This shows that my strength is with overview and generics rather than details and specifics. I have a strong sense of quality that is based on a mixture of simplicity, direct communication and courage.So in the end what makes me stand out in the crowd? I work with young people a lot these days and I would say that the programming skills of some are really something special and definitely at the same level as mine. Technically what I can contribute is with insights from my long experience. I am good at picking the right path right away. I have not had many formal leader roles but I often turn out to be an informal leader in a group. This is because of my broad people skills. I listen to and see the individuals in every team making them feel strong in their work. I listen to the whole team and find what needs to be done to succeed. This combination of strong technical and people skills is rare in the industry and it is where I stand out.
