(These products are OEM from suppliers worldwide.) As Tech. Mktg. Mgr. was responsible for delivering service manuals, user manuals, training material, and setup of FRU (service parts). Managed the escalation of our products and the resolution after they are released.

Responsible for the Vendor Management of large OEM manufacturer (BDT) in Germany. Accountable for 5 generations of paper handling devices coming from BDT. Oversaw processes at DCs and our supplier, including setup of testing on the production line. Established the relationship with the European International Procurement Office (EIPO) and led the charge to establish the business model to bring staplers and staples from Max – Japan and BDT, and the consumable staple to the DCs. Developed the currency hedging model with the EIPO to reduce our currency exposure in Germany. Developed local suppliers for PCAs, cables, and PWS for our products in BDT.

Integral part of the team that transferred the first Paper Handling Accessories for the LaserJet to Guadalajara. Served as Manufacturing Engineer for our first PH development, which was an input tray for the first HP color LaserJet. Served on a team in 1992 that developed a new Line Impact Printer (1100-lpm). Returned to Materials Engineering by request to participate on a team of engineers in Boise, ID for 6 months that coordinated the transfer of several impact printers to Mexico.
