Within SSE Heat Networks I take on the role as Performance Engineer to optimise the energy centres and distribution networks on energy efficiency, O&M costs and lifetime expectancy while increasing the production share of the low carbon production plants like CHP's and heat pumps. My personal goal is to participate in demand response programs with these low carbon production plants. By choosing the production runs of our assets we can join the smart grid.

Within the heat team of SSE I will provide technical support to the Business Development Managers for new bids, to the Project Managers for plants in progress and to the O&M Managers for operational district heating schemes.My personal approach will be to keep an eye on the efficiencies of the energy centres of SSE and try to find some energy savings.

As part of a team of 25 motivated professionals of Veolia, we take care of the energy and water supply of the hospital of Gent and guarantee the comfort for all of the 3000 patients and 6000 employees.My role in this team is to lower the consumption of energy and water of the hospital. This is accomplished by the continuous launch of energy saving projects to decrease the demand and to increase the efficiency of the supply. This contributes to the affordability of health care and comfort in hospitals.
