In recognition of a continuous effort to bring innovation, conceptual and technical design problem-solving, and sustainable strategies, I was promoted to Design Associate. I have collaborated in many international competitions, including master plans in Asia and the Middle East. As a project architect, I have also led design teams during schematic to construction administration in the US. I have also been involved in research focused on Carbon Reduction, High-Performance Design, and Net-Zero projects already built. As a senior designer, I was involved in the design and technical processes of different projects. I was also responsible to incorporate exemplary sustainable principles, and performing a variety of energy analyses on different phases to have a better knowledge about what would be smart passive strategies and envelope-massing approaches. Focused on design, technical documentation, and analysis of exemplary enclosures such as Volpe HQ - MIT with an innovative design customize curtain wall to meet the high Energy performance standards from the baseline.

New York

I worked closely with Cetra Roddy's founders, John Cetra and Nancy Ruddy, in many RFPs, feasibility studies, and zoning analyses in the New York Metropolitan area. I have also had experience working in interior design for lobby, retail and residential amenities including overall design. I had the opportunity to work on whole life's projects such as West 95th Street and Choice k-12 school (including master plan), including:-Dahlia -95th St. Upper West, New York. Residential High-rise. -The Choice School, India. Master Plan and k-12 school. Two campuses.-500 Summit, Journal Square development at Jersey City-Sarah Lawrence College – Student Center New York.-Oskar at 572 11th Ave, 200 East St, New York -Meatpacking Office Building, New York -ARO-242 West 53rd Street, New York -Staten Island's vision is to accommodate 9 million people by 2030 in NYC for Crain’s and CUNY studio housing.

Berlin Area, Germany

Awarded with a research chair position through an international competition with more than 300 applicants around the world. DRX 2015 is an annual research program hosted by Henn Architects in Berlin. Research led by 3 PhDs and 4 Professional designers from different backgrounds, that year we looked into Vertical Cities toward Urbanity & Integration, Transportation & Energy, and Sustainable Design. We came up with three prototypes located in Delta River, China. The final Research was published in Innsbruck University and international Architecture Magazines such as CTBUH NYC. We collaborated with experts from ARUP London, Dusseldorf University Professors, and Transsolar Bioclimatic engineers.

While working at HMD-NY Design, I was involved in several cultural projects and master plans in China. I was also fully involved in an Art Gallery conversion in Brooklyn where I had the opportunity to manage the project, schedules, work in consultant and client coordination, DOB filing, DD and CD phases.Remarkable projects:1_BAS Brooklyn Art Gallery, NY (12k sqft): SD/DD/CD/CA. Project Architect/ Designer. BIM Advisor on the Team. Concept Design, Structural Coordination, and Client Presentation. 2_ Operator House in The Gut Bridge, Maine (1,200 sqft): Small timber construction from programming to Contracts Documents. Coordination with the structural and MEP team. (Team leader: 2 people) 3_ Qingdao Convention Center, China (600k sqft): Multi-theatre convention and conference center competition. Concept Design, Visualization. 4_ Victorian Bistro Restaurant, Germany (30k sqft): Interior Design and Exterior facade renovation of a German Bistro Restaurant in Düsseldorf.5_ Residential NY Tower of the 21st Century (600k sqft floor): high-rise tower in Long Island City. Competition entry for Metal Structures Competition 2014 with Madsen Structures. (Team leader: 3 people.) 6_ Evolo 2014: Vertical Neighborhood Tower Competition entry.7_ RFP_ Four Mixed-use towers, Chengdu, China (1,5M sqft): Design of 4 new towers proposal including a large retail + office podium.

STL Architects selected me in Chicago for an internship based on my Master's thesis degree project. I got promoted as Junior Architect, demonstrating my design skill over different project phases on educational, residential, cultural, and design competitions projects. Some collaboration on the following projects:- Lycee Francais, Chicago : From SD to Construction Documents. Revit BIM experience.- SOS Roosevelt Square, Chicago. Chicago Public houses and planning. - Condominium Tower, Chicago: Mixed-used high-rise on Lake Shore Drive. RFP- Be’er Sheva Adult Care Center design competition, Israel (80k sqft).- Cinematography studio in India (Annapurna studio). RFP- International architectural design competitions: -Helsinki Central Library, Helsinki, Finland -Daego Public Library, South Korea- Scholastica School, Chicago. CA (Punch list and Field Reports) - Sahara School, Indore, India (120k sqft). SD. Render & Animation. - Back of the Yard Public School, Chicago (800k sqft). CA. Escuela Tecnica Superior De Arquitectura De Madrid

Working with FDCA I was involved in a variety of conversion and renovation competition projects. We were awarded the First Prize in the Parador Nacional de Turismo de Iratxe (Navarra, Spain) on January 2010, a national competition for the conversion and restoration of a sixteenth-century monastery into a modern hotel. Another remarkable collaboration was the Fundacion Sepi HQ in Madrid, a reconversion.I also collaborated on several Master Plans in Abu Dhabi where sustainable urbanism strategies were implemented.

Experience in social housing, working with Juan Coll-Barrel (ETSAM, NC University State)where we developed prototypes for the Madrid Housing Department for the Olympic games for Madrid 2016 candidature and conversion of an old warehouse into a cultural center, “Tabakalera," in San Sebastian, Spain.
