Worked independently in the lab with a classified Alzheimer’s patients’ dataset with DNA arrays (450 x 30,000) for Deducing gene cycle patterns.Working under Dr. Ron Anafi to look into brain and other tissues and deploying CYCLOPS to detect and analyze potential gene spike indictors.Involves running CYCLOPS on different data sets after extensive cleaning, PCA plots for different phenotypes. Done on Julia and Python.

Was involved with the development of a custom machine learning library called CYCLOPS (Julia) which predicts cycling order of genes with just DNA Array dataMade an efficient Cross Validation Algorithm in Julia for CYCLOPS and ran it on the university Supercomputer cluster. Also set up the github repository.

Lead a team of 4 people (interns) to consult for the largest paper company in Brazil on future innovations to make their company more environment friendly.Proposed and analyzed the efficacy of making carbon fibers from one of their waste products, “lignin”. Presented it in 5 different presentations with the TechLead and Executive officer. It had an overwhelming positive response from the company as it helped reduce their wastage and was a green solution.Involve a lot of market analysis, data collection, data visualization, market prediction and consulting experts in the lignin industry.
