Alternative Development Organization (ADO) is an independent, non-profit legal entity registered under Norwegian law.ADO is dedicated to evolving, designing, advocating and implementing new model of socio-economic development framework known as the Alternative Development Model (ADM) which is based on the principles of Energy-efficiency, Environmental responsibility and Sustainability (EES).ADM espouses non-exploitation of people, resources and environment at its core and works towards creating and executing initiatives for equitable and empowering opportunities.ADO is inspired by the pioneering strategic partnership of India-Japan Global Partnership (IJGP), which was the first archetype of empowerment-based ADM framework.

India Center Foundation is a non-partisan and not-for-profit organisation.Instituted with a vision to positively impact socio-economic development and act as a catalyst in nation building processes, it focuses on designing, proposing and monitoring macro-sustainable development models with a view to create a new socio-economic framework that is energy-efficient, environmentally responsible and sustainable. This will eventually lead towards stable socio-economic growth in Asia and in the rest of the world.Various socio-economic initiatives of development envisioned by ICF are at different stages of conceptualization and execution. These initiatives are ranging from but not limited to infrastructure, re-establishment of industrial culture, education, health, agro-economy and cultural exchanges are widely recognized, respected and have been commended by policy makers, opinion leaders, academicians and business leaders from India and abroad.

India-Japan Global Partnership Summit (IJGPS) is envisioned as a summit of two great nations, held alternatively in Japan & India where policy makers, business leaders, opinion leaders, academicians & media leaders from both nations interact & exchange ideas in a very conducive environment to produce a Micro Road Map for the Macro Vision that is embodied in India-Japan Global Partnership. An India Center Foundation (ICF) Initiative, the IJGPS, is working towards institutionalizing a new socio-economic framework of growth and development that is inclusive and integrated of small and medium enterprises, energy efficient, environmentally responsible, and sustainable.The ever-strengthening relations between the two nations got a diversified boost with IJGPS 2011 , from 5-7 September at Tokyo, Japan, which provided a platform for a face-to-face interaction amongst thousands of top business leaders, policy makers, opinion leaders, media leaders & academicians. The Summit, first of its kind was held with the aim of expanding, reinforcing & realizing stronger socio-economic frameworks for cooperation between India & Japan and it achieved a break through by further bringing closer the dynamics between the two nations.

The Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change is an initiative of the Salzburg Global Seminar and the International Center for Media and the Public Agenda. The International Center for Media and the Public Agenda (ICMPA) is an academic institute for media and public policy teaching and research based at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism and affiliated with the University's School of Public Policy.
