Part of the Expertise Centre Innovation & Design. I support the Expertise Centre's growth in the Dutch market by helping with the development of propositions, creating sales materials, writing proposals.

In a small team I supported DAF in their transition from a product-oriented organization to a service-oriented organization. A new software platform (DAF Connect) was the driver of this transition. Together with DAF, their dealers and their customers, we co-created service concepts around DAF Connect through a user-centric approach.

With a team of four students I advised the Council of Rotterdam about new ways to engage its residents and visitors in keeping the municipality clean. We created a package of small, easy to implement solutions that together should stimulate 'good' (clean) behavior on the long term.This project was based on the first steps of the Design Thinking methodology, in which we did our research to understand the resident's current drivers for certain behavior. These drivers were used to create new concepts that stimulate good (clean) behavior. Finally we were able to present a working prototype of an app to the Council of Rotterdam, ready to be tested. During this process we involved the Council members as much as possible in order to create support for the final ideas.

'How could a circular IKEA look like for its customers in 2025?' During this internship I studied how IKEA could best serve its customers in a circular context. As part of this study I mapped the potential of today's exponential technologies, such as Augmented Reality, IoT and Digital Manufacturing. The output of this study is a set of circular service and -retail concepts and a roadmap to implement them, taking into account organizational, cultural and technological aspects.

Developing the first online marketing strategy and maintaining all digital channels for the Professional Learning & Development department of the University of Twente.

Writing articles for the online- and physical magazine 'UT-Nieuws'. The magazine is focused on news that is relevant to the university of Twente and its students. This role involved interviewing, doing desk-research and -of course- writing readable, coherent and exiting articles.

Doing market research for the development of a new training program in a B2B context. Developing a value proposition that appeals to a B2B market as opposed to a B2C market. When does sustainable development appeal to businesses?

Organized the first and successful study trip for the study Creative Technology to Silicon Valley for a group of 25 students. I was in charge of the cultural program, I arranged several company visits (e.g. Twitter and Mozilla) and I guided the group throughout the trip.
