Oversee construction and Maintenance issue in Clayton, South Fulton and Douglas counties. I work closely with the local government, constituent and contractors throughout the life of construction and or all maintenance related issue to make our state routes safe for the traveling public. Also, I'm responsible for developing talent and finding our next leader; I work closely with my assistant in construction and maintenance to develop talent as well as provide the necessary training for our team.

Greater Atlanta Area

As the assistant manager, I was responsible for managing projects manger as they manage the construction projects. Our main goal as a team was to construct the project on time, on budget and per GDOT standards and specifications. As the assistant manager of construction, I also worked closely with the Area engineer to keep him informed of major issue/modifications that were made on construction projects. In this position my duties and responsibilities also included implementing strategic ways to ensuring the construction projects met the performance metrics every quarter.

Oversee multimillion dollar construction projects in collaboration with contractor, design engineers, environmental engineers and traffic operations. Manage document control process including change orders, contractor and subcontractor billing, field production tracking and contract administration. Coordinated project close-out which, includes project deficiencies, maintenance, corrective work and final payments. Also enforced traffic control and Georgia Standards and Specifications. • Manage consultants who monitor and inspect all of project construction • Coordinate lab testing, maintain records of materials and correspondence• Enforce safe work conditions and traffic control

Applied theory and principle of civil engineering in planning, overseeing construction, maintenance of structures and facilities under the direction of a Professional Engineer. I collaborate with owners and contractors to deliver superior results in the final design.• Provide technical support to contractors • Review procedures submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with standards and . specifications• Interpret and resolve questions regarding designs, codes and specifications as directed by the Project Manager• Prepare progress reports as required• Perform lab test on soil samples per GDOT Standards.
