•Review, analyze, and make recommendations on applications for development, zoning map amendments, special exceptions, variances, special permits, certification of nonconforming uses and departures applications for compliance with restrict requirements of the Zoning Ordinance.•Participate in the Pre-Development Review Committee meeting discussions of these projects.•Package all agency correspondence for assigned plans, review and prepare staff reports on various site plans, and zoning applications. •Give public presentations to Planning Board, County Council, and community groups as required.•Participate in the preparation of MDP Annual report. •Served in Alternative Compliance Committee, review Alternative compliance applications and prepared staff reports for alternative compliance cases in accordance to the Prince Georges County’s Landscape Manual.•Effectively communicate and negotiate with lawyers, developers, surveyors and architects regarding the land developments matters on a case by case basis.•Assist citizens with land development inquiries in Prince Georges County.
