I grew up in the beautiful mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), North Wales, in a home powered by solar and wind, therefore I have developed a deep respect and understanding of the environment and a drive to make a difference. In waking up every morning to the breath-taking view of the Carneddau mountain range, this has nurtured within me a love for the environment . The wild and rugged areas of the natural world is also where I choose to spend my free time either climbing, running or swimming. The thrill of the sport I do is tempered by having a strong regard of the human-landscape connections that surround us.I believe Landscape Architecture is about bring people closer to the environments in which they live, and creating projects which are collaborative, sustainable and community driven is key to shaping and making places. I think it is important for our landscapes to be innovative and memorable spaces, where everyone is involved in the design process in order to narrate and strengthen a sites unique quality through being responsive to both human and landscape connections and needs.
