• Responsible for daily file room operations both physical and electronic records; record retrieval, file transfers, updating records, filing pre-coded data, file maintenance, creation of new files, bar coding of material, responding to client requests regarding various file series, answering standard reference questions, inactive management, well and land interfiling, cataloguing and document delivery if possible. • Process physical and electronic file updates; including UWI Change report, Re-entered well report, Multi-leg wells, Land terminations, Cut & Capped Records and Offsite Box Management• Utilize multiple databases to access records information, including fulfilling client requests, maintaining accurate file classification and solving file discrepancies.• Maintaining accurate statistics on activities for proper assessment of SLA adherence and personal performance • Communicate with the Business Leader about any requests for procedural change and the implementation and maintenance of approved procedures.• Mentoring team members and ensuring file room procedures are followed. Train temporary and contract employees on ongoing file processes, providing the knowledge and expertise necessary to become an integral part of the records team.
