I assist with cases, filing and submitting applications, work with the District Director to research feasibility of program replication/expansion, and assist in the adoption/migration to a new database. Provide translation/interpretation in Spanish as appropriate, assisting with outreach events in the community, distributing fliers and promotional materials, demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the population served.

I traveled to targeted schools to establish and maintain positive liaison with administration, faculty, and staff. Recruited participants, implemented activities and provided services that enhanced students success in school, increased retention and graduation rates, and facilitated post-secondary enrollment. Identified appropriate program participants and obtained required information to document students eligibility for participation, and completed a needs assessment for each student in cooperation with school counselors, faculty, and parents.

I supported parents as the primary educators of their child, gave information to families during referral, evaluation, and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meeting processes. Provided information to families in understandable formats, including individuals with low literacy, and in the family’s primary language. Meet federal, state and program documentation requirements with accurate, objective, complete, timely and well organized records. Ensured family confidentiality by limiting conversations about families and access to their records to those directly involved in providing services to them.

I performed routine food service activities like following food and restaurant safety standards and guidelines while paying attention to detail in food/service quality. Assisted in ensuring a clean, safe and well-organized restaurant. Demonstrated basic knowledge of menu and responded to guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.

I was in charge of the reception, answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying insurance, patient and insurance billing, direct communication with patients, and other various administrative projects as may be assigned. Assisted with the language barrier between Doctor/staff and Spanish Speaking patients.

Completed 500 hours of community services at CPAH where I was an intern for 7 months. Guided clients, promote and model a culture of hospitality, communicate effectively verbally and in writing with volunteers, work and get tasks done independently without supervision, and was able to stay focused under stressful situations.

I organized activities that develop children's physical, emotional and social growth. Collaborated with classroom teachers to keep activities running smoothly, monitored children's play activities to verify safety, wellness and encourage safe, positive behaviors. Used clear communication skills and professionalism to develop constructive relationships with families.
