As a volunteer at the University of Nevada, Reno's Student Outreach Clinic, I had the opportunity to get hands on experience meeting with patients without medical insurance. Here we were able to advise general nutrition information to these patients under the supervision of Registered Dietitians and Medical Doctors working with the program.
