As a legal assistant I have various job duties. I Notify and confirm clients for depositions and mediations as well with trials. I send out letters via mail and email to clients regarding their upcoming hearings and trials. A very important job that I do at this law firm is requesting invoices and sending out checks, this job has to be done in a timely manner and 100% accurate. Meeting with clients in person regarding any questions or concerns play a big role at my job. I meet with them and go over their case, I also help them with going over their oral depositions and make any changes if needed to.

As a legal receptionist I've had many responsibilities throughout the day. Taking payments, setting up appointments for the attorneys was what half the day consisted of. During the 8 hour work day I had to send out motions to the courts and assist with the mail room This job helped me with improvising and doing my work in a timely effective manner.

As an HR assistant I helped out with sorting existing and new files. In the work system I added vacation hours, entered occurrences and added sick days for the warehouse associates. Two days out of the week I helped with orientation and interviewing over the phone.

Working reception for this clinic consisted of verifying insurances, checking in patients for a doctor's visit or surgery. Tuesdays and Thursdays were our surgery days, these days were the most busiest days of the week. Being the first point of contact for this clinic was a big responsibility. Knowing to multitask and having great communication skills was what I improved on.

As a daycare assistant for toddlers my duties consisted of watching over 17 kids each day. Teaching kids the alphabet, potty training and sign language was the daily activities. Through out the day I would help with other classes, as well with the baby's classroom (6 months). Working this job helped me with patience and working well under pressure.

As a picker/packer I would pick out orders for clients. Once the online order was picked I would pack the order and it got sent to shipping. Throughout the day I would assist inventory control if needed. Working this job for more than a year helped me with paying attention to detail and working well under pressure.
