Energy Manager
CurrentDevelopment and management of HHC's energy management program that will assist the City to achieve its energy and greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal of 30 percent by 2017 through improved operations and maintenance (O&M) practices at each Health and Hospitals Corporation facility. Responsibilities also include: Develop and deploy HHC's operations and maintenance ("O&M") programs based on the requirements and recommendations set forth in Citywide DCAS DEM O&M Program; Manage HHC's energy management program by working with key HHC personnel including, but not limited to, facility and financial management personnel; Implementing best practices related to improving operations, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures and information management to reduce greenhouse gas emission and energy use; Coordinating with DCAS DEM and HHC managers to develop HHC measurement metrics and reports to ensure compliance with citywide goals, auditing requirements, operational protocols and standards; Developing procedures for the delivery of technical support services and provide technical support to facilities in implementing HHC's energy management plans to include identification of training needs and certifications; Coordinating materials and resources to ensure implementation and certify completion of measures identified in retro-commissioning and energy audit reports.
