I am a teacher at heart but, my true passion has always been to encourage myself and others to be the best version of themselves inside and out. I've been an educator and leader with more than 15+ years of experience working with children and having experience in an educational environment as well as 10 + years of experience in retail and beauty industry. My cultural background and roots are from India where my family is from. This is where I learned about the culture of clean ingredients such as herbal and ayurvedic remedies to skincare regimens. My beauty journey started through my experience working in retail clothing and beauty stores such as Sephora and then as a Beauty Advisor with Anastasia Beverly Hills as well as a brand representative for Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabonne fragrances. Now I currently work with Coty brands including Philosophy skincare, Gucci beauty, Kylie cosmetics and skin as well fragrance brands in Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloe, Gucci, and Marc Jacobs.My most recent degree is a Masters in Education in Curriculum Instruction from National Louis University from Wheeling, IL. Along with my English as a Second Language Endorsement , I am also certified in Special Education. My last educational job was as a Special Ed. EC Teacher/Case Manager for grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. I have gained experience in program improvement, professional development, and have completed a 200 hour digital wellness yoga alliance training with a built in certification for Social Emotional Language Facilitator. I am available to lead workshops in yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques to your next work meeting, private consultation or group event!
