I create visuals, post regularly on my institute's LinkedIn page, shadow Knowledge Exchange fellows, write website blog posts, and have launched CftS's first newsletter. I have been learning about all the different roles within a policy institute, from steering groups and researchers to communications.

I conducted a critical review on the "Usefulness of Net Zero" to inform the Sustainability and Resilience Institute on accurate and responsible use of net zero frameworks. In this process, I investigated a range of climate response perspectives at varying scopes, from local authorities to international perspectives. I created a report which I presented to the SRI; contributed to post-election analysis of the Labour Government's climate commitments; interviewed a range of climate academics and professionals; and attended the 24th Annual Tyndall Centre for Climate CHange Research conference to learn more about climate/ policy academia.

I trained up from a junior to a supervisor in a local convenience store, and became responsible for running a Post Office counter, cashing up, keeping the shop and its staff secure, and organising shifts. I learned various customer service, admin, interpersonal and organisational skills.
