Opti O2, LLC develops and manufactures an advanced sensor system for measuring and monitoring dissolved oxygen (DO) in water and wastewater. This optical sensing technology is based on a patented sensing film/lens that has been engineered to resist fouling while providing highly accurate measurements of DO over a wide range. The Opti O2 oxygen sensing technology is an integrated system that offers bidirectional communication to manage sensor operation, adjust sensor parameters and communicate with primary process controls without the need for an intermediate translating controller or device.The Opti O2 sensor is the result of years of research, testing in both the lab and the field under challenging conditions. The optical sensor offers excellent durability, as proven through over 4 years of operation in an outdoor ecosystem without service or need to clean the sensor lens. The patented oxygen sensing film provide enhanced performance and accuracy due to its unique capability of eliminating interference from contaminants and other constituents in the target media. The sensor system enables the user to remotely monitor DO at the desired measurement frequency and transmit this data in real time for primary control operations.The Opti O2 sensor system provides accurate DO measurement throughout the typical 0-20 ppm range. In addition, the sensor can measure low levels into the ppb range for those applications where little or no oxygen is desired. These capabilities and superior durability make this the technology of choice for industrial, municipal and other challenging applications.
