CurrentKEY RESPONSIBILITIES• For companies and trusts, preparation of management accounts and financial reports to support tax, for lodgement with government agencies• Preparation of business activity statements, IAS, PAYG and payment summaries or business clients• Bookkeeping and maintain general ledgers for business clients• Preparation of payroll on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis for business clients • Preparation of tax returns for companies, partnerships, trust and individuals• Liaison with Medicare and Australian Taxation Office• Financial para planning to rollover superannuation benefits, draw transition-to-retirement pensions, and securing insurance with respect to life cover, incomeprotection, and total & permanent disability insurance• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending regular industryworkshops, keeping up-to-date with industry news and upgrading relevant qualifications
