Created a model on the implications for marginalized communities, and solutions from current projects being implemented. Wrote a final paper about the current environmental policy, what specific districts are doing to improve greenspace and green infastructure, how some projects are harming these efforts, and future policies that can be implemented. This paper is supplemented with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to visually model our findings.

At the Prokopec Lab, I am researching the multi-level causation of arboviral diseases and the creation of disease prevention strategies. We investigate the occurrence, transmission, and propagation of vector-borne and parasitic diseases while using models of pathogen transmission. Additionally, we seek to further understand insecticide resistance and how spatial and temporal dynamics relate to vector management.
