I specialise in corporate and white-collar crime, financial regulation and global investigations, representing corporate clients across a broad spectrum. I regularly advise clients on crime prevention, risk management and compliance.I have experience in multi-jurisdictional investigations and matters with multi-agency involvement, and have defended clients under investigation for global corruption, serious fraud, direct and indirect tax fraud and money-laundering.I joined Ashurst as a partner in 2020, having been at a magic circle firm for 4 years. Prior to that, I practiced at the independent Bar for 13 years, where I was a trial lawyer defending and prosecuting cases of serious fraud, organised crime, money laundering and a wide range of regulatory actions. I acted for the FCA in its most complex criminal investigations on a continual basis from 2009 to 2015. I also acted for or against the SFO, FRC, HMRC and the NCA.
