Managing new hire orientation, scheduling, staff evaluations and performance feedback, patient account audits, registrar education (to include all information technology and software updates) and compliance for all health system policies and procedures. Position is also responsible for staff adherence to HIPAA and Joint Commission guidelines.

Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida Area

Position is responsible for registering patients in a timely/accurate fashion while complying with HIPAA guidelines and health system policies and procedures. Patient Access Specialist are responsible for obtaining valid orders from ordering physicians and properly identifying diagnosis and procedure codes to verify medical necessity. Position also includes obtaining correct patient information to validate MSPQ audits.

Tracks and maintains all records, ensuring compliance with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Serve as initial point of contact for company employees regarding issues and inquiries, including but not limited to payroll and company policies. Assists the executive committee on administering performance reviews for every company employee, meeting with both the employee and the direct supervisor and thoroughly documenting the entire process.

Responsible for payroll administration, accounting, employee recognition, implementing handbook procedures, employee scheduling and grant administration.
