I have been in the medical field for 27 years. I enjoy working in the medical field. I have worked under MD's, NP, and radiologist-present. My medical experiences and knowledge are surrounded around referrals, obtaining authorizations, scheduling procedures, entering data, such as: demographics, insurance information, verifying insurance eligibility, and answering phones while multi-tasking with above responsibilities. The first full-time medical job was with the local health department for six years. From here, I worked under Memorial Health, Savannah, Georgia for Internal and Family Medicine. Throughout my medical career of 15 years with Memorial, I worked with Georgia Eye Institute for two years.I am currently employed with a local hospital where I hold a Manager position in Radiology Centralized Scheduling and OR Scheduling. I have been employed for this same facility for 7 years. My title when first hired was a Radiology Centralized Scheduler, before becoming a Team Lead then a Supervisor.
