CurrentChairman of the SE Seattle Peace Coalition. Facilitating meetings, and fostering an inclusive environment for members of the team. Using skills in marketing and digital illustration to support SE Peace Coalitions mission. Prevention, education and action. This organization works with community members, local leaders, and elected officials to guide the next generation away from alcohol and drugs, prevent overdoses, decrease gun violence, and promote mental health. Participating in the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI), funded by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services’ Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery. King County Department of Community and Human Services’ Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division awarded Neighborhood House a five-year CPWI grant to develop the coalition and implement community prevention strategies that will lead to a positive effect on youth, families and communities in SE Seattle. The King County Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Program provides oversight and support of this grant.
