Experienced professional in the field of Medical Transcription with a solid background in handling different types of medical reports under various medical specialties and dictations from doctors of different dictation styles and accents.I started my career as a medical transcriptionist trainee and then rapidly progressed to more advanced positions such as Editor and Quality Assurance Specialist. My experiences gave me the opportunity to develop excellent listening skills, a genuine liking for deciphering spoken speech, and wide knowledge and understanding of different Medical and English terminologies.I have been expertly trained to transcribe in accordance to the guidelines outlined on the “American Association for Medical Transcription” Book of Styles, making me well versed and up to date with the different industry-accepted standards in the field of medical transcription. I have also been oriented regarding the HIPAA Compliancy Policy on Quality Assurance. My present goal is to gain employment in another institution to satisfy my desire to move on and share my skills and expertise in a new professional environment.
