- Overall responsibility for safeguarding across the service & Senior point of escalation.- Designing & Delivering bespoke Safeguarding training - Initial scoping requests for serious incidents and deaths/ homicides informing Domestic Homicide Review Process - Organisational Lead on Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)- Organisational Lead on One Day One Conversation (ODOC)

• Identifying and Managing high risk cases of Domestic Abuse inclusive of Stalking, Assaults, Child Abuse, Attempted Murder, Honour Based Abuse, Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation, Kidnap, Theft, Burglary etc. • Ensuring interventions are in place• Complete onward referrals• Assisting in evidence collection guidance on investigation• Writing reports for Multi Agency risk assessment conferences and representing West Midlands Police• Leading at the MARAC• Conducting meetings and liaising with both other internal and external departments and agencies. • I have also worked on a Domestic Homicide Review

• Supporting victims through the criminal justice process from reporting to trials • Providing advice to an array of professionals• Completing safeguarding for vulnerable adults and children• Ensuring support plans are in place for those that need/want them • Writing support reports for victims and conducting pre-trial visits and advocating around special measures.• Working with victim’s who have complex needs such as alcohol and/or drug abuse and additional Mental Health needs

• Advocate on behalf of clients to get their voices heard. • Participate in Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference and other professional’s meetings. • Conduct risk assessments and endeavour to reduce risk(s) of significant harm/homicide to victim/clients• Create support & safety plans in to place for vulnerable clients with complex and unique needs• I was given the lead on Policy Evidence Tool Kit, an internal resource that aims to record good/bad practice that effect the client

• Ensuring victims are safeguarded to a high standard both child & adult• Advising and liaising with statutory and non-statutory agencies • Managing high risk cases of Domestic Abuse/Stalking within the Stalking Threat Assessment Centre • Creating safety and support plans for victims of abuse • Maintaining the electronic case note and recording system

• Interact through play and education and to care effectively for the needs of children from 0-12 years old including in health, hygiene, and safety• I plan creative activities/lesson plans which facilitate in providing a challenging and stimulating environment• Working closely with parents/carers and the wider family to support the needs of the child • Working closely with Social Services around children on Child in Need/Protection Plans

• Full police powers and investigate crime both in, uniformed and covert roles• My duties consist of detaining, arresting and presenting suspects to custody • Interact with young adults and parents, and providing them with support, guidance, and information to help make informed decisions whilst being naturally emphatic and cope well in difficult situations• Conduct stop and searches, part take in enforcer entries, search vehicles and premises• Conducting meetings and liaising with both other internal and external departments and agencies
