Dr. Ruby P. Lee is Interim Department Chair & Professor of Marketing and Director of Global Initiatives at the College of Business in Florida State University. A two-time Fulbrighter, she was the recipient of the 2016-17 Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Chair Award to visit Hanken School of Economics, Finland and 2023-24 Fulbright Scholar to Kosovo. Dr. Lee received her PhD from Washington State University. Throughout her academic career, she has published in Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Decision Sciences, Marketing Letters, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, and Journal of World Business, among others. Her research interests focus on marketing strategy, innovation, strategic alliances, interfirm relationships, and multinational corporation knowledge management in emerging economies. Her recent research tackles social innovation and she was the lead guest editor of a special issue on this topic for Journal of Product Innovation Management published in 2019. She enjoys traveling and has been to nearly 50 countries. Hong Kong, where she was born and grew up, remains the city she loves the most. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and is learning Spanish.
