-This was an internship as part of a neuropsychology MSc at Maastricht University. -I delivered neuropsychological assessments such as to patients such as tests of intelligence, memory, attention and executive function. Patients typically consisted of brain tumor surgery candidates, those with degenerative diseases, viral diseases and those with epilepsy. -Scored tests using normative data and interpreting results. -Liaised with oncology, stroke and epilepsy teams to interpret tests taking into account evidence from other disciplines such as brain imaging, pathology, EEG and DAT scans. -Researched patient’s patterns of deficits and reporting findings to the internal team. -Wrote patient reports. -Assisted in awake craniotomies, most commonly testing patient’s language and motor function during cortical mapping.
