I am a senior at Minerva University, where I am pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Minerva is a global university that offers a rigorous and innovative curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. As part of my education, I have lived and studied in seven different cities around the world, gaining exposure to diverse cultures, perspectives, and challenges.Last summer, I interned at Wild Montana, a nonprofit organization that advocates for the protection and restoration of public lands in Montana. I researched and produced a comprehensive report on tribal land co-management models, which are collaborative arrangements between Indigenous communities and federal agencies to manage natural resources. The report provided guidance and best practices for Wild Montana staff and partners to engage with and support Indigenous stewardship on public lands. Through this experience, I developed my skills in policy analysis, legal research, and gender studies, as well as my passion for environmental and social justice.
