Welcome customers by greeting them, in person or by phone, and assist with any and all questions regarding merchandise, insurance and prescriptions - referring to a pharmacist when necessary• Resolve patient issues in a timely and friendly manner• Follow up with patients once a prescription order has been placed to notify when the order will be ready forpick-up or to be mailed out• Operate cash register to process cash or credit sales• Stock, clean and maintain equipment and work areas• Perform clerical tasks, such as filing, compiling and maintaining prescription records, or composing letters• Works as a liaison between customer service corporate and the pharmacy• Responsible for monitoring and processing orders in the bulk folders in a timely manner• Responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped out on time• Follows up on all customer calls regarding orders• Works as a liaison between the pharmacy and the dispensing department.• Answer all incoming phone calls and check Voicemails• Ensures that the facility profiles are up to date in the pharmacy system• Monitors the emails assigned and ensures that responses and actions are done timely• Maintain proper supplies needed for all tasks• Handles requests for returns and replacements.• Handles requests for prescription refiles and forwards them to pharmacists• Complete any tasks assigned by pharmacists• Process payments for patient pickups
