• I worked on the buying team for the TV shopping channel Create and Craft. My role entails:
• To act as a key line of communication with all suppliers, merchandisers, buyers and other internal departments liaising day to day issues, products and marketing information.
• Working closely with the Buyer and Assistant buyer but also working independently on creating shows, receiving show proposals and products from the supplier.
• Setting up the suppliers and their products on our systems, making sure the names and cost prices are correct.
• Assisting in resolving all issues with both internal departments and external suppliers as necessary and required by the Buyer and Assistant buyer
• To be responsible for all samples and ensuring the correct procedures are followed.

• I started as a cashier where my role involved speaking, serving and helping customers.
• Over time I became a check out supervisor I because a customer supervisor assistant where I had to deal with complaints, the running of the checkouts, and cash handling.
• I was also a trained on the food service counters. This involved food traceability with certain food items, and making sure the counters are clean and that all the correct paperwork was filled out.
• I also took care of Waitrose Deliver on a regular basis, which involved ensuring customers got their orders on time and taking phone calls from customers and our customer services team. I was also able to drive the van.
• I also worked in the wine department which involved checked we had enough stock and that it was the correct stock. I also had to make sure that all offers and prices were all labelled correctly in line with Trading.
