My role as petrol attendant includes correct completion of important paperwork that the station gets when there is a delivery or new stock received.The main part of my job involves cash handling, taking card and cash payments for petrol and diesel. It is a customer based role and I en devour to represent ASDA's key ethos which is "Service to our customers, strive for excellence, respect for the individual and act with integrity".Dealing with customer complaints and queries has further enhanced my customer service capabilities but also allows me to problem solve and use my initiative.

New Tredegar, Caerphilly

My responsibilities at the Winding House helped me a great deal in solidifying my career choice. I helped with their upcoming exhibition which was based around World War 1. My role within the marketing department was to help update existing tourist sites and market the new exhibition as well as introducing the museum to some new websites, as well as designing new leaflets for summertime activities the museum held for children.I also had the opportunity to help with the display of the World War 1 exhibition.

Millennium Stadium, Cardiff City Staduim

My roles at both stadiums were very similar. These included working on hotdog and burger stalls, ensuring that the products were safely cooked by adhering to strict food hygiene and safety laws.I also had the opportunity to serve customers hot and cold drinks as well as light refreshments. This including cash handling and great customer service skills.

Cardiff Museum

During my time at Cardiff Museum, I spent a huge amount of my time helping with the upcoming exhibition 'Mughal India'. this included, sending hundreds of leaflets with details about the exhibitions to hundreds of Cardiff's residents.I also prepared a yearly report for the National Museum of Wales which included analyzing and collecting 30 different visitor feedback questionnaires and transformed them into statistics and charts so the marketing team could see how successful the event at the Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon was.

Praia Da Luz, Algarve, Portugal

During my time in one of the largest hotels in the Algarve, I was responsible for a large number of tables within a small but very busy restaurant during peak season holiday months. The restaurant would serve around 250 covers per night and my roles would include, taking both food and drinks orders, cleaning and relaying tables, running dishes back and forth to the kitchen whilst communicating with the head chef. It was a great experience as I was thrown into an already established waiting team with very little training and worked almost everyday for 6 weeks.Customer service skills were extremely important as Mark Warner is a very reputable company and the main aim was to ensure that the customer experienced excellent customer service at all times.

Newbridge

Working as a small team, I worked on a busy bar on match days at the weekends. I was tasked with the whole set up of the bar area, as well as providing excellent customer service to the customers. I served both alcoholic and non alcoholic refreshments to customers whilst adhering to strict licensing laws regarding the serving of alcohol. My duties involved cash handling and ensuring that the clients were having an excellent experience during their time at the rugby club. As well as being the bar manager during Sundays when I was solely responsible for the club. This included handling the finances and securing the premises at night.
