As a growth-oriented individual, I have tried to expose myself to as many opportunities as possible to encourage personal development:National Citizens service (2021)- I participated in this scheme after leaving school to further my skills and gain experience. On this Government programme I learnt a lot about myself and how I work collaboratively with activities such as social action and adventure team-building tasks that I learnt to take leadership of but also heightened my communication skills. This project additionally urged me to push myself and become comfortable in diverse situations.Nottingham College (2021-2023)- During my time at college, pursuing a Level 3 extended Business Diploma, I was exposed to many different areas of business, including, Marketing, HR, Finance, International business, creating a new business concept and much more; I immediately took a likely to marketing as I knew if did this for my career, I would be able to express my innovation and have creative freedom with my career.The Crown Hotel (2021-2022)- I worked at this pub in between college and even after when searching for a role in marketing, I would argue that this experience is what catalyzed my confidence and gave me a feel of what the working world was like- and it was hectic! However, working in such a varied atmosphere, filled with a manifold assembly of customers helped me become adaptable and maintain my control in high pressure situations. Ideagen (2023-Present)- In my current position, as an apprentice content creation apprentice, I am constantly learning new things about this industry, practically and academically, my role consists of SEO work, design and media content which is a joy for me as design, especially concerning websites and pitches, as this is what my aim was to doing for my career when I decided to go into marketing all those years ago.
