As unique individuals, we have talents and strengths that we can build upon to expand our potential as leaders.My own experiences in leadership helped me to identify important needs when leaders escalate to assume new responsibilities: managing uncertainty, stepping out of your comfort zone, transforming your role from operational to strategic, managing stress levels and internal questioning; also, the need to develop new skills in order to establish relationships and effective communication with the different players and teams of which you are now part of, integrate and lead high performance teams, etc.Leadership courses are valuable and mentoring within the organization is important, the challenge is to integrate these new ways of doing and being in everyday life. This is where professional coaching provides the missing piece.
