Work as a Features Editor includes participating in weekly editorial meetings, approving and providing feedback on story pitches, editing and publishing feature articles and subbing social media posts. This position builds upon my knowledge of feature writing, while introducing new skills like editing the work of my peers and providing constructive feedback.

Work as a Staff Writer included weekly editorial meetings, writing feature articles, conducting interviews and undertaking a weekly news shift. Built upon knowledge of news writing, feature writing, while introducing skills like writing social media posts, publishing articles and sub editing peers' work.

Two weeks full time between the news desk and magazines. Wrote picture stories for the Herald Sun newspaper and digital stories for The House of Wellness. During my time here, I was able to improve my interviewing and writing skills, as well as my overall communication skills.
