CurrentIn my role at Green Room, my job is to serve customers and ensure that their drinking and dining experience is a pleasant one. I have experience both behind-the bar and on the floor, making drinks and running food. On the weekends it gets especially busy so I am constantly on my feet, making sure all customers are attended to, and that when they leave their table is clear for the next customers. I have knowledge of all the food, wines, beers and cocktails, to offer ideas for customers who need recommendations on what to eat or drink. My favourite part of the job is during the summer months when I sell drinks on the iPad. I will visit each table and sell drinks, I like to have a friendly chat with the customers, recommending drinks and pushing sales. I always manage to hit target on the iPad sales, upselling lots of different products on the menu each weekend, I believe this is because I am always interested in hearing what they have to say.
