While working as an artisan I have gained substantial knowledge cleaning and restoring luxury bags. This includes brands such as Channel, Louis Vuitton and Hermes. I have spent this time learning to craft individual care plans for each project in order to fulfill the clients brief. Some of these specialist skills include electro-cleaning and plating, colour matching and spray painting. Through this experience I have built my patience, accuracy and fine motor skills. At the same time I have collaborated with the social media team to create online content, resulting in over 100k views over various social media platforms.

I was responsible for serving customers during the busy Christmas period. This involved remembering large amounts of product information including ingredients, environmental benefits, and ethics of each of the hundreds of products. Along side this I gave one to one skin and hair consultations, which required patience, product knowledge and active listening. All while working to a high standard and as a fast pace while answering any customer queries. From this role I improved my communication skills and my ability to handle pressure.

As a key holder and mostly the only member of staff working, I was responsible for opening and closing the shop, cashing up the tills, filling in bank slips and keeping count of the shops daily and weekly figures. I trained volunteers, including some with significant anxiety, on using tills, stock replenishment, plant care, counting and storing deliveries and teaching them about customer care. I taught young children how to make bird and bee boxes, while following all health and safety procedures. I have learnt to prioritise tasks as well as thinking fast when problems arise, to reassess priorities and take immediate action. Managed several teenagers to enabled their success.
