Ruby Sachdeva, an architect, an interior designer and a post graduate in International Business, founded AEON OVERSEAS in 2003 with an aim of manufacturing and exporting high quality bespoke handmade paper products. She had a clear vision to make environmental consciousness not only acceptable but also highly fashionable. In her journey, she started to help designers and manufacturers to reduce their waste by turning their left over fabrics into bespoke and sustainable stationery. She has worked with many designers across the globe and has helped them use these products as part of their collections, as customer purchase gifts or simply as courtesy giveaways. These products are not only one of its kind, user friendly and ethical, but also spread the message of upcycling or repurposing the materials thus using end-products of one industry as a raw materials for another and bringing into practice the concept of circular economy.
