About Ruby Saharan
I worked hard to build a career- just like you are probably doing right now. In fact I worked for Fortune 500 companies for nearly 16 years of my career in healthcare. I worked hard and loved the sense of achievement as I made it from one milestone to the next. There was great satisfaction in advancing my career and I took great pride in my work. I loved the teams, people I met and the opportunity to travel.Life was good! However, in the midst of going progressing my career, I adopted eating and lifestyle habits that impacted my Gut Health without realising. I had a pretty clean diet, so it came as a surprise when I developed lactose intolerance aged 35. I switched to dairy alternatives, thinking “It happens with age I guess” and carried on with my work.At the time, I didn’t realise this change in my digestion was responsible for other changes in my body. 🚨 That new food intolerance was the first warning sign that I had metabolic & hormonal imbalances. I developed melasma, cysts, hyperlipidemia, migraines and increased abdominal fat- all things I didn’t realise at the time were interconnected.I saw doctors to “fix” each issue separately, cut down my working hours and joined the gym. None of it worked because I wasn’t addressing the ROOT CAUSE.My natural curiosity led me into the world of nutritional therapy and the microbiome. It was like my eyes had been opened!I healed my digestion.My intolerances disappeared and so did my other symptoms. Today, aged 44, I feel stronger and healthier than I did ten years ago.
