My first commission was for The Sunday Times. I have since written features for The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Femail.co.uk (Daily Mail) and a column for Exchange & Mart. The leading number plate dealer, Regtransfers commissioned me to re-write many of my number plate articles for their sister website Numberplates.com. I was founding editor and feature writer for their customer publication The World of Personal Number Plates.While studying for an MA in Writing at Sheffield Hallam, I founded Jolly Tots Magazine, a local listing publication. I distributed 10,000 copies each quarter. I ran it from 2008 - 2012 when I sold it to a local entrepreneur.

I handled all PR activity and was actively involved in marketing activity for this highly successful company. I wrote scores of articles for their website and in 2001, wrote a book for them called Fanatical About Number Plates. I gave many live radio interviews and Exchange & Mart commissioned me to write a monthly column for their website. I was considered to be the UK's leading expert on personal number plates at that time. I became launching editor of their glossy customer magazine, The World of Personal Number Plates. Over one million copies have now been distributed nationwide. I interviewed over a hundred people during my time there, including many celebrities.
