After 34+ years in Public Safety I have left for the private sector. I joined the Sun Ridge Systems team in April of 2020. I have been familiar with this product since 1986 when we used it in Rocklin, CA. It was a great system then and has continued to only get better with age. I will be a part of the Sun Ridge Systems Training Team. The bulk of my additional responsibilities is to manage the California Incident Based Reporting System (CIBRS) and the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) migration for our Sun Ridge clients nationwide. Part of that is making sure to get the training materials out, migrations scheduled and handling the migration from Uniform Crime Reporting to CIBRS and NIBRS.History: I began Public Safety Dispatching in 1986 in the City of Rocklin, Ca. Soon after became a Communications Training Officer from 1986 until 2009 at which point I stepped down from training. As of 2018 I have started training again. During the course of my career I have developed several training programs, materials and instructed multiple classes and in-house training academies. I have several certifications including Emergency Medical Dispatch, Tactical Dispatch, ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700 and Check-in and RADO Operator certification. I've been part of and have led several Conversion Teams for various Computer Aided Dispatch systems; most recent being Tiburon and Tyler Technologies New World Systems; prior to joining Sun Ridge Systems.. In 2017 I was selected to be a part of Tyler Technologies New World's Advisory Board. This was a three-year term.
