Country Procurement Manager
As a County Procurement Manager, I am tasked with executing the county's procurement strategy and achieving cost development targets. This involves ensuring a steady supply through regular risk evaluations and mitigation plans, and maintaining accountability for the accuracy of all procurement data. I lead, manage, and develop the local procurement team, overseeing the implementation of both Global and Local Procurement Manuals. Local supplier management and the management of indirect local spend are among my key responsibilities. I also oversee B & C spends, and if delegated by the regional category manager, any local A spends as well. Interfacing with the local management team, providing support for integrating acquired companies, and coordinating local issues with the regional team are integral aspects of my role. Additionally, I execute the regional sourcing strategy, identify and implement cost-saving projects, and report local talents to the Regional Procurement Manager. I represent Procurement in the Local Experts Team (LET) and conduct annual supplier evaluations in line with ISO approval. Furthermore, I have developed and administer departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective performance monitoring and improvement.
