Following on from my time at Aurora Meldreth Manor School as part of an agency contract with Teaching Personnel, I am now working on a full-time contract as employed by The Aurora Group. Aurora Meldreth Manor School is a specialist independent day school supporting young people with a range of highly complex learning difficulties and specific learning disability needs. My classroom specifically tailors towards older children, supporting them to progress at their own level within a learning environment designated to help them achieve their full potential as they reach adulthood.

Responsible for assisting children with mild to severe special educational needs, with everyday learning and developmental tasks. I have worked at two separate schools, one in Sussex and one in Hertfordshire. Brantridge School, Staplefield:Working with primary school aged boys with autism and ADHD diagnosis. This role centred around supporting pupils to socialise in classroom settings of smaller numbers, as well as encouraging them to work independently. Meldreth Manor School, Meldreth, Cambridgeshire:Meldreth Manor is a specialist day care supporting students with highly complex learning difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and degenerative conditions including complex medical needs and sensory and physical impairments. This role requires building a strong relationship with the students, ensuring the support provided enables progression at their own, individual level.
